The building of the security wall at our new land was supposed to have started in April, but the builders office was closed for some time. Now we are just waiting for the town to approve our building permit, and then they will get started! Better late than never. :) We continue to dream about an accessible play place, a garden, and Lupita continues to campaign for a cat and a cow. We will see...

A month ago, the 6 girls in house #1 were moved into a different house. They are farther away from our second house, but only about a 10 minute drive. The new house has been wonderful. It has an actual inside area for education and therapies (instead of just using the garage or living room), a big office, a beautiful living space, and a big back yard. It feels so peaceful there, and I am grateful we found it!

This year has been a bit of a hard one medically for our girls. We have had several new diagnoses, and while not life threatening (praise God!), they have needed new treatments, more Dr consults, and extra medicines. On the emotional side of this, I have found it difficult to process the losses. This is something new for me, as I've always accepted their differences as just "normal". Things had been so stable for a while, with improvements in health and abilities. So to be all of a sudden seeing life long changes that aren't improvements... well, it makes me sad. Would you please be praying for me?  When this pandemic started, and the economy started it's downward trend with people being laid off, I'll admit, I worried about our financial situation. But, as always, God has provided. I was surprised to see we have had several generous, special donations given, 3 new people have started to support us monthly, and I just received word that a new church will start to support us soon! All exciting news!
Having said that, we have been using our medical reserve more and more over the last 6 months, for the previously mentioned diagnoses, and we have now depleted that fund. If you are able to help us out, I would so appreciate that! And as always, stable monthly sponsors are the lifeblood of our ministry, enabling us to pay all of our monthly bills, and continue supporting the girls to the best of our ability! So if you'd like to sign up for monthly giving, we'd appreciate that too. Really, no amount is too small!
